While passing through Dickson, Tennessee, I stumbled upon a delightful spot that every coffee enthusiast should know about: Pumphrey & Beard Coffee Co. Located at 98 Church St, Suite #1, this cozy café is the brainchild of Amanda Pumphrey, who transformed her passion for coffee into a community hub.

Though it was a bit late in the day for me to indulge in caffeine, I couldn’t resist trying one of their delectable pastries. The Strawberry Cheesecake Muffin, crafted by local baker CJ’s Sweets, was the perfect afternoon treat. CJ’s Sweets is known for its homemade goodies and regularly features at the Dickson County Farmers Market.

Pumphrey & Beard isn’t just about great coffee and pastries; it’s about community. From its humble beginnings as a food truck in 2018, the café has grown into a beloved local establishment. They offer a range of services, including in-store dining and participation in local farmers markets.

For those interested in visiting, Pumphrey & Beard is open Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM. You can also explore their offerings and stay updated through their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Pumphrey & Beard Coffee Co. offers a warm atmosphere, delicious treats, and a genuine sense of community. It’s a must-visit spot in Dickson that promises to make your day a little brighter.
